Dual Diagnosis Support

Dual diagnosis is a term used where a person has both an addiction problem and mental health difficulties such as depression or anxiety. We feel that it is important to treat both your mental health and addiction issues together.

Areas you (as a client with a dual diagnosis) may need support with include:

– Housing assistance

– Medical card/GP/Medical appointments

– Social welfare/Disability support

– Family/Partner/Relationship support

– Crisis services, motivational support, and relapse prevention along a continuum of care

– Advocacy and accession services

 How we can help:

We offer a free service to anyone who wants support with their dual diagnosis. The dual diagnosis support person will do an initial assessment and discuss with you what areas of your health or social care that you need support with.

Referral Process:

Referrals are made through HSE Ladywell mental health services, however Turas can support you in engaging with Ladywell.

You can contact the office at 042 933 8221.
